Kissmetrics is a customer analytics platform based out of San Francisco, California that was founded by Neil Patel and Hiten Shah.[1][2]
Kissmetrics provides visualization tools on how users interact with their website, web apps, and mobile products. It collects and shows customers acquisition data for each user.[3][4] In 2013 Kissmetrics acquired SourceNinja, a startup offering to help companies manage security flaws in their open source libraries.[5] As of 2013, it has raised $7 million in venture capital funds.[6]
In 2013, Kissmetrics finalized the settlement of a class-action lawsuit resulting from its alleged use of "supercookies" to track people online.[7][8]
