Komeng (born Alfiansyah; August 25, 1970), is an Indonesian comedian, presenter and actor who became popular for presenting the SCTV television program Spontan from 1995 to 2003.[1]
Career
Komeng began his career by performing at many comedian festivals with his group Diamor and was the winner more than 10 times. After that, Komeng was a radio announcer on Radio SK and Bens Radio.
In addition, Komeng performed in several programs such as Drama Komedi, Kompor Diamor, and Spontan for 9 years which made him famous and led to his winning the first award category for 2004 Favorite Comedian at the Panasonic Awards. He has also acted in many television soap operas, including: Malioboro and Putri Duyung. Komeng has also appeared in various comedy programs, talent shows, and talk shows such as Opera Van Java, Gong Show and a popularity of talkshow program Indonesia Lawak Klub.
In addition, Komeng had a lead role in two films, Anda Puas, Saya Loyo (2008) and Mau Dong Ah (2009). Currently, Komeng has been selected as co-host for replacing comedian Andre Taulany in the NET. program Ini Talkshow.
Personal life
Komeng married to Aprillia Indra Dewi on September 24, 1999 and they had triplets. His third daughter Cantika Alhayu Aldi died due to symptoms of weakness.[2]
