Korwar is a village in the southern state of Karnataka, India.[1][2] It is located in the Sindagi taluk of Bijapur district in Karnataka. It is famous for Anjaneya temple, called as Korawareshwara. It comes under Korwar Panchayath. It belongs to Belgaum Division. It is located 64KM towards East from District head quarters Bijapur and 541 KM from state capital Bangalore. Korwar Pin code is 586120 and postal head office is Korwar. Korwar is surrounded by Afzalpur Taluk towards North, Indi Taluk towards west, Basavana Bagewadi Taluk towards South, Bijapur Taluk towards west. Kannada is the Local Language here.
