Kristof Hering
Kristof Hering was born on 27 February 1989 in Hanover, Lower Saxony. He is best known for finishing in sixth place in season 9 of Deutschland sucht den Superstar.[1][2]

Early life
Kristof Hering was born on 27 February 1989 in Hanover, Lower Saxony.[3] He currently lives in Hamburg.[3] He lives with his boyfriend who is 30 years older than him.[4] He has a tattoo on his left ankle.[3] He has an older sister and younger brother.[3] In 2008, he left home and went to a catholic gymnasium where he received his abitur.[3] He is a fan of Udo Jürgens, Robbie Williams and Peter Maffay.[3] He also likes jazz and pop.[3] He likes to go shopping, listen to music, and do sports with his friends. He has lost 56 pounds since 2008.[3] He keeps it off by going to the gym three times a week.[3] He was at the Stage-School-Hamburg in 2008 and 2009.[3] His favorite songs includes "Über 7 Brücken" by Peter Maffay and "I sing a Liad für di" by Andreas Gabalier.[3]
DSDS
Kristof was eliminated in the Top 6.[1][2] He suffered verbal and death threats during his participation during season 9 due to his homosexuality.[1] People were writing stuff like "You are sooo gay to .."; "I'll cut your balls"; "Get out of DSDS, if you value your life" and "I stab you up".[1][5] RTL filed charges against unknown persons because of the threats.[5]
