Kumkuma Rakshe (Kannada: ಕುಂಕುಮ ರಕ್ಷೆ) is a 1977 Kannada film directed by S.K.A.Chari. It stars Kannada actor Ashok Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth and Manjula in the lead roles. It is a remake of the 1962 Tamil film Nenjil Or Aalayam by C. V. Sridhar. The film was also dubbed in Tamil as Kurinji Malar.[1][2]
