Lagosanto is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Ferrara in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) northeast of Bologna and about 40 kilometres (25 mi) east of Ferrara. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,480 and an area of 34.2 square kilometres (13.2 sq mi).[1]
