Jamila Omar Bouamout (Arabic: جميلة بو عمرت well known as Laila Ghofran) (alt Laila Ghufran) (Arabic: ليلى غفران (born March 19, 1961) is a popular Arabic singer. She is originally from Morocco.[1]
She began her career in the 1980s in Egypt. Her career really took off in 1988 thanks to her first husband.[2]
Her daughter, Hiba, was murdered in 2009.[3]
