Layla Kaylif
Layla Kaylif (Born September 1, 1971) is a British Emirati director, screenwriter and singer-songwriter.[1] She began her musical career in 1999, when she released her first album Enough Rope. She then began her directorial debut in 2015, when she directed The Letter Writer, a romantic drama set in the 1960s. The film earned her an award at the 2015 Dubai International Film Festival.[2][3]
