Dr. Lee Boon Chye (Chinese: 李文材; pinyin: Lǐ Wén Cái; born 26 September 1959) is a Malaysian politician who is the Member of the Parliament of Malaysia for the Gopeng constituency in Perak.[1] He is a vice-president of the Keadilan party, in the Pakatan Rakyat opposition coalition.[2]
Lee was elected to Parliament in the 2008 election,[3] defeating Datuk Lim Hee Leong (son of former Transport Minister Tun Ling Liong Sik) to wrest the Gopeng seat away from the governing Barisan Nasional coalition.[4] Lee was previously a cardiologist.[5]
