Lee Tae-hwan (hangul: 이태환; born February 21, 1995) is a South Korean actor, model and singer. Since his acting debut in 2013, he has starred in television dramas and web series, notably Pride and Prejudice (2014).[1][2][3][4] He is a member of 5urprise.[5][6]

Career

At the age of eighteen in 2013, Lee Tae-hwan made his official acting debut in the short TV series titled After School: Lucky or Not together with his members of 5urprise. [7]

Tae-hwan became popular with his acting in the MBC drama Pride and Prejudice which he portrayed the character Kang Soo, an investigator and former taekwondo athlete. Lee's first historical period drama was Splendid Politics which he played young Prince Gwanghae. The older character played by Cha Seung-won. [8]

In 2016, Lee became notable for his role in Please Come Back, Mister as Choi Seung-jae. He played a character of a former gangster and bodyguard. His distinguished acting skills made him chosen for his next role in the MBC's popular drama W. He plays the character of a 31-year-old man Seo Do-yoon, he is Kang Cheol's (played by Lee Jong-suk) bodyguard and a martial arts instructor.
