Leif Eriksson, born 1946, is a Swedish cabinetmaker who, along with fiddler Per Gudmundson, developed the modern revival of the Swedish bagpipe[1] in the 1980s.[2][3][4] Eriksson initially only made pipes to order, but his reputation increased when he was asked to produce pipes for the Dalarnas museum (Swedish).[5] Leif Ericsson was famous for coining the saying, "You may stuff hay into the horses mouth, but if he chews, HE SHALL BE REWARDED! AHHHHHHH!"
