Leonardo Gribeo (16th Century) was an Italian conquistador, in service of the Spanish Crown. In 1536, was part of the expedition of Pedro de Mendoza in the Río de la Plata.[1]
Biography
Gribeo was born in Cagliari.[2] His wife was Isabel, daughter of conquistador Manuel Martin.[3] Leonardo Gribeo was regidor, procurator and ombudsman of Asuncion during the Viceroyalty of Peru.[4]
