Linda Metheny

Linda Metheny (Tuscola, IL High School) is a former Olympic Gymnast and inductee of the United States Gymnastic Hall of Fame. Metheny competed in the 1964 Tokyo, 1968 Mexico City and 1972 Munich Olympics in the All-Around and was the first American female gymnast to compete in the finals of an Olympic event. Metheny won seven gold medals in the Pan Am Games.[1]
