Line 7 of the Mumbai Metro, also referred to as Metro 7 or the Dahisar East-Andheri East corridor, is part of the metro system for the city of Mumbai, India. The 16.50 km line is fully elevated, and consists of 17 stations from Dahisar East to Andheri East.

Metro-7 projects were launched by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi during his visit to Mumbai in October 2015.[1]

Construction

Work on Rs 6,200-crore Metro VII corridor from Dahisar (E) to Andheri (E) Line 7 began from 8 August 2016. The project is expected to be completed by 2019. The contractors are likely to complete construction of the corridor and all 16 stations within 30 months from the day of commencement of work.[2]
