This is a list of the heads of government of the modern Romanian state, from the establishment of the United Principalities to the present day.

From 1859 to 1862, the two Principalities had each its own Government, and a Cabinet, seated in Iași and Bucharest respectively. In 1862 Alexandru Ioan Cuza changed the Constitution and there appeared a single Government and Cabinet, seated in Bucharest.
