List of breweries in Ireland
Main article: Beer in Ireland
This is a list of breweries in Ireland. Brewing has a long history in Ireland, having had the largest brewery in the World, Guinness based in Dublin, which started business over 250 years ago.
Craft beers started to appear, from 1990 onwards, as microbreweries and in brewpubs. With Ireland ranking at 6th in the World biggest beer drinkers,[1] there is plenty of opportunity for new breweries to gain a share of the market.
