Harry S. Truman
David L. Bazelon of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit was Truman's longest-serving appellate appointee, with over 40 years of service.
William H. Hastie was the first African American appointed to a United States Court of Appeals, the Third Circuit.

Following is a list of all United States federal judges appointed by President Harry S. Truman during his presidency.[1] In total Truman appointed four Justices to the Supreme Court of the United States (including one Chief Justice), 27 judges to the United States Courts of Appeals, and 101 judges to the United States district courts.
