Liz Knox (born June 9, 1988 in Stouffville, Ontario) is a professional women's ice hockey goaltender. She was a member of the Canadian national women's ice hockey team that captured the gold medal at the 2011 Winter Universiade. Knox was selected 18th overall in the 2011 CWHL Draft.[1]
Playing career

On March 10, 2010, Knox became the first Golden Hawks player in the history of the women's program to win the CIS Player of the Year award (known as the Brodrick Trophy).[2]
Hockey Canada
At the 25th Winter Universiade in Erzurum, Turkey in 2011, Liz Knox registered her first shutout in a 14-0 defeat of Great Britain (contested on January 30, 2011).[3] Knox played in the gold medal game at the 25th Winter Universiade. She stopped 20 of 21 shots en route to propelling Team Canada to a 4-1 win over Finland.[4] With the victory, she earned her fourth win in as many starts.[5] In the second game of the 2011 IIHF Eight Nations Tournament, Knox allowed only one goal in a 14-1 triumph over Russia.[6]

For the 2013-14 season, she is joining the Melbourne Ice women's hockey club.
