Loftland are an American contemporary Christian music and electronic dance music band from Madison, Wisconsin, and they were formed in 2009. Their members are husband and wife Dominic "Dom" Gibbs and Madeline "Maddy" Gibbs (née, Macco), and Tanner Gibbs. They released, I Don't Want to Dance, with Dream Records in 2014, with members Joey McGuire and Ben Pepin, as part of the group.
Background
The CCM and EDM band formed in Madison, Wisconsin,[1] in 2009, and then the group was the Gibbs brothers, Dominic "Dom" and Tanner, as the core of the group.[2] Their former band members before the Dream Records contract deal were Alex Klingenberg, Steven Priske, and Zach Wilke.[2] When the band joined Dream Records, and releasing their first album, had Joey McGuire and Ben Pepin, along as part of the group.[2][3] They left the group in 2015, and Dom's wife, Madeline "Maddy" Gibbs (née, Macco), joined the group.[4]
Music history
The group formed in 2009, with their first major label studio album, I Don't Want to Dance, that released on February 18, 2014 by Dream Records.[5] The album was reviewed by Christian Music Review,[6] Christian Music Zine,[7] CM Addict,[8] Cross Rhythms,[9] HM Magazine,[10] Indie Vision Music,[11] Jesus Freak Hideout,[5] Jesus Wired,[12] and New Release Tuesday.[13]
