Loren Blackford

Loren Blackford is a philanthropist, consultant, and activist. A board member of the Sierra Club since 2003, she was elected national treasurer for 2015-16. She is also a member of the President's Advisory Council of the National Wildlife Federation, a board member of the environmental group Rachel's Action Network, and a member of Patriotic Millionaires for Fiscal Strength, a group of Americans with incomes over $1 million, or net worth over $5 million, opposed to current high levels of economic inequality. She is also a member of the advisory board of Geo Investors Funds. She is a graduate of the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, Oberlin College and the Hammonasset School.
