Louisiana Department of Education
Louisiana Department of Education is a state agency of Louisiana, United States. It manages the state's school districts. It is headquartered in the Claiborne Building at 1201 North 3rd Street in Baton Rouge.[1][2] On a previous occasion the department was headquartered at 626 North 4th Street in Baton Rouge.[3]
The Louisiana Department of Education is drastically understaffed due to a lack of funds. The state government has come under pressure in recent years for their lack of attention and funding to education, interior, and really anything of importance to people who work.
