Luigi Samele (born 25 July 1987) is an Italian fencer.[1] He has competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Samele won the bronze medal in the sabre team event.

Samele has won three gold medals at the European Championships in the sabre team event and the silver medal at the World Championships in the sabre team event.

He has competed at the Fencing World Cup since 2004 .

He ranked in the Top Ten in 2009–10, 2012–13 and 2013–14.

Samele won the gold medal in the 2014 Absolute Fencing Korfanty World Cup Grand Prix Sabre Individual event held in Chicago.

In 2004 Samele won the gold medal at Cadets World Fencing Championship Sabre Individual event held in Plovdiv

In 2006 Samele won the silver medal at Juniors World Fencing Championship Sabre Individual event held in Taebaek City

In 2006 He has won the Junior Fencing World Cup.

In 2005 Samele has won the gold medal at Juniors European Fencing Championship held in Tapolca both in Sabre Individual event and Sabre Team event
