Luiz de Carvalho (16 May 1925 – 17 November 2015) was a Brazilian Christian singer.
Luiz de Carvalho was born in 1925, the son of Augusto José de Carvalho and his wife, Ema. He was youngest of 12 siblings. He was President of Youth Union of the Baptist Church in the city of Tupa, São Paulo in the 1940s. De Carvalho introduced the guitar in worship in the mid-1950s. He was the second gospel singer to record an album in Brazil.[1]
