Mahendra Perera is a Sri Lankan film, television and stage actor. Perera studied at Thurstan College. He started his career in the 1993 film Nelum Ha Samanmalee , and rose to prominence in 2004 by playing the male lead in the highly successful film Mille Soya, and later the 2008 film Machan.^[2] Mahendra Perera studied at Thurstan College, Colombo.
