Mahmood Ali-Balogun

Mahmood Ali-Balogun is a Nigerian filmmaker, cultural worker and the Managing director of Brickwall Communications Limited.[1] He directed the multiple award-winning film 'Tango With Me'.[2] He is the Chairman of the Audio Visual Rights Society (AVRS) of Nigeria (2).[3][4][5]

Early life and Career

Mahmood Ali-Balogun was born in 1959[6] and grew up in Northern Nigeria.[7] He is an Alumnus of University of Ife, now the Obafemi Awolowo University where he studied Dramatic Arts and specializing in film and television production.[8][9] Mahmood’s career has evolved over the years from being an actor,[10] to director,[8][11] producer,[8] industry leader,[8][12] film consultant[13] and ambassador in the Film making industry.[14]
