His Nature

He was a very friendly, generous and warm hearted person. With his truly independent thoughts he wanted to stand for his people and fought against the politics played, by the then ruling party Congress. He was known as the Lord (Jamindar) in his village and surroundings since he inherited a huge ancestral properties which he donated to the needy or gifted to his close ones. Its told that he almost gave away 200 acres of land to the people, such big was his heart. But some of his close ones called it an addiction.

Till to date after 50 years every family in his town and surroundings do remember him as a person who wanted to serve his people from the town and elevate the living conditions through better education, infrastructure and good governance.

Even today the Durga temple (Ganapeswaram Durga temple) built and money donated by him still reverberates his presence and the yearly festivities (Jatara) carried on by his sons. Wish there were more selfless people like him in this current world.
