Maokong Station is the terminal station of the Maokong Gondola of the Taipei Rapid Transit System, located in Wenshan District, Taipei, Taiwan. It provides access to the town of Maokong, for which the station is named.
History
- July 4, 2007: Maokong Gondola was officially opened.
- October 1, 2008: Due to the Typhoon Jangmi the operation was suspended.
- March 23, 2010 - March 27, 2010: Re-open again for test operation, free run limited to 10,000 passengers a day.
- March 30, 2010: Formal full operation again.
