Mark Graham Jackson (born 30 September 1977 in Leeds) is an English football Coach at Leeds United who last played for reformed Farsley, after his last club Farsley Celtic was wound-up by its administrators on 12 March 2010. He is best known for his playing spell at Scunthorpe United. He is a former England U20 international.

Career

He started his career as a trainee at his hometown club Leeds United, but found first team opportunities scarce. Failing to displace defenders such as Robert Molenaar, David Wetherall, Lucas Radebe then Jonathan Woodgate, Dom Matteo and Rio Ferdinand. After 2 failed loan spells at Huddersfield Town and Barnsley, he joined Scunthorpe United on a free transfer.

After five successful years there, which included him becoming the Scunthorpe United Captain. He moved to Kidderminster Harriers, before coming back to league football at League Two side Rochdale for a fee of £35,000.

He was released by Rochdale on 11 May 2007, joining Conference National new-boys Farsley a month later. Jackson became the football in the community officer in Farsley and ran camps for children during the school holidays.

Coaching career

He became the manager of the Farsley Celtic Under-19s team which were formed at the start of the 2008–09 season. When his first team manager, John Deacy was sacked, Neil Parsley took over and Jackson became the Farsley Celtic first team assistant manager. Whilst at Farsley, Jackson also combined his role as the Head Of Football at Leeds City College.

On 10 November 2015, Jackson rejoined his hometown club Leeds United as the Under 15/16's Coach, rejoining his then former Leeds Academy Manager Paul Hart at the club.[1]

On 24 June 2016, Jackson was promoted to co-Under 18's Manager at Leeds United alongside Andy Gray as part of Leeds' academy structure.[2]
