Marlapalem is a village in Chatrai Mandal in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh, India.[1]
It has several surrounding villages. On the west side Gudipadu, on the east side Yedavalli of West Godavari district, on the north side Polavarm, on the south side Kothagudem and Somavaram. It is a prominent center for surrounding 6 villages.
Marlapalem is connected to nearby towns like Nuziveedu, Eluru, Vissanapeta, and Chintalapudi. You can reach Marlapalem from these towns by roadway by autos or buses. Marlapalem has a Z P H School which is the main school for education for the surrounding 6 villages.
With rich yielding lands, Marlapalem lake is the water supply for these fields, Marlapalem lake will get water from Monkollu reservoir. Main crops in Marlapalem village are tobacco, maize, paddy, and chilli.
