The masked tanager (Tangara nigrocincta) is a species of bird in the family Thraupidae. It is found in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Peru, and Venezuela.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and heavily degraded former forest.
