McNeese Arena, also known as Ralph O. Ward Gymnasium, is a 5,000 seat multi-purpose arena in Lake Charles, Louisiana. It was home to the McNeese State University Cowboys basketball team until the Burton Coliseum opened in 1976.[1] It is named after Ralph O. Ward, who was head coach of the basketball team from 1952 to 1971.
