Medi-Caps Institute of Technology and Management (now Medi-Caps University), also known as Medicaps is a central Indian management and engineering institute.[1] Baptized in an endearing spirit, Medi-Caps Institute of Technology and Management took its first step in July 2000 with a vision to design future scientifically. Within a short span of nine years the Institute has attained a strong footing amongst all the technical colleges of Madhya Pradesh. It is situated on a beautiful hillock with a pleasant environment, on the Agra-Bombay National Highway, 15 km. away from Indore Railway Station, a historic town, now known as the commercial, industrial and trade capital of Madhya Pradesh.
Medicaps Institute of Technology & Management was affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Bhopal, the Technical University of Madhya Pradesh for engineering courses, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), Indore for management course and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. Also Computer Science, Electronics & Communication and Mechanical departments are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
Recently MediCaps becomes MediCaps University.
History
The institute was founded in 2000. It is located at the Rau suburban, of Indore city, Madhya Pradesh, India.[2]
Medi-Caps Institute of Technology and Management is managed by Medi-Caps Charitable Trust, Indore, constituted under provision of stature 28 of M.P. Vishwavidyalaya Adhinium 1973, and the AICTE Act. Shri R.C. Mittal, an industrialist, is the Chairman of the Governing Council.
