Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET) is an engineering institute located on NH-58 Meerut-Delhi Bypass, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India. The college is affiliated to Mahamaya Technical University, Gautam Buddha Nagar.[1]
History
The institute was established in 1997 by the City Educational and Social Welfare Society.

Vision

Library
The institute hosts one of the most renowned libraries .You can find any book ranging from science journals to novels as refresher.Any student or faculty can avail the library books and at any moment of time. The library also provide a hot spot for exam time study, you can find students doing late night studies or brain storming on a problem.[3]
Computer Center
The computer center has 1900 computers in 15 labs, all having internet through a 10 Mbit/s leased line.[4]
Hostels
The institute has on-campus hostel facility for boys and girls. The boys hostel has a capacity of around 850 while the girls hostel can accommodate 250 students.
Achievements
- The college was chosen as a star-performer in the UPTU academic excellence award 2008 and simultaneously for the year 2009.[5][6]
