Megha Ramaswamy is a Mumbai-based screenwriter, director and producer.
Her hybrid short documentary, Newborns premiered at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF),[1] and was reviewed as the Best Film of Programme Four.
Ramaswamy has also been a beneficiary of the prestigious Chicken & Egg Fund in collaboration with IDF for the film and for her work with the support group Stop Acid Attacks.
Megha's banner, Missfit Films, is dedicated to producing innovative films, which subscribe to being neither independent nor commercial. She co-hosts Cause Effect, a platform that produces cause related content & outreach programs.[2] Megha's second audio/visual project Bunny also premiered in North America at TIFF in 2015 & has since travelled to several acclaimed festivals post its release - including CORK, NIFF, IFFLA.
