Melton Town is a football club based in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, England. The club competes in the United Counties League Division One, and plays its home matches at the Melton Sports Village.
History
The club joined the Leicestershire Senior League in 2009, having previously played in the Nottinghamshire Senior League.[1] They finished runners-up in 2014 and 2015, and after finishing third in 2016 were promoted to the United Counties League Division, at level 10 of the English football league system.[2] Before the clubs inaugural season in the United Counties League the club changed their name from Melton Mowbray Football Club to Melton Town Football Club
