Michael Gonzi (born October 23, 1960)[1] is a Maltese medical doctor[2] and politician.
Political role
He was elected to the House of Representatives of Malta in the Maltese general election, 2008 and again in the Maltese general election, 2013 representing the 12th district.[2][3] He was previously a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe from 2003 to 2004.[1]
Party affiliation
He is a member of the Partit Nazzjonalista.[1]
Family background
He is the younger brother of former Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi[4] and a nephew of late Archbishop of the Diocese of Malta Mgr. Mikiel Gonzi.
