Michael Hennig (born 14 July 1955 in Ebersbach) is a East German male former weightlifter, who competed in the 100 kg category and represented East Germany at international competitions. He won the gold medal in the clean & jerk at the 1980 World Weightlifting Championships lifting 217.5 kg. He participated at the 1980 Summer Olympics.[1]
