Michael "Mike" Lester (born 4 August 1954) is an English former professional footballer who played as a defender/midfielder. He made 381 appearances most at Scunthorpe from 1983 to 1986 with 106 appearances. He played for 14 clubs in his career including Chorley where he retired after two years there. since playing he has managed some semi professional teams. He returned to Grimsby Town in 2012 with his family to watch Grimsby face off against Newport in the 2-2 draw. Managed Curzon Ashton.
