Miljan Milosevic (MIL-yan mee-LO-se-vich; Montenegrin: Miljan Milošević/Миљан Милошевић) (born November 8, 1985 in Podgorica, Montenegro) is a Montenegrin actor who has appeared in American films and television productions. He is best known for his role in the NBC's television series Siberia.[1]

Biography

Miljan was born and raised in Podgorica, Montenegro.

From early years he showed interest in working with children and volunteering (UNICEF, Save the Children) and eventually became a chief coordinator instructor at a Montenegrin national child care organization called "Children's Alliance."

Miljan's obsession with theater and film lead him to apply to acting schools. He was one of 10 people admitted to the prestigious Academy of Arts in Novi Sad and graduated with an MFA in Acting, under professor Mihailo 'Misa' Janketic.

After his first year of studies, Miljan Milosevic made his acting film debut in Karolj Vicek's film "Fellowship Offerings." The film premiered at the 2004 Palic Film Festival, landing Miljan great audience and critics' reviews. During studies, Miljan played in various theater plays and film projects.

Miljan is also a self-taught piano player and composer. His first single "Sunday" was published in 2010.

After graduation, Miljan moved to the U.S. to pursue an acting career. He landed several roles in various short and independent films, before he booked series regular role in NBC's primetime drama series Siberia (2013).

Writes and composes music in his free time. His first single album Sunday is on iTunes.
