Minister for Finance (Wales)
The Minister For Finance is a member of the cabinet in the Welsh Government. The current Minister for Finance is Jane Hutt. The minister is responsible for the management of the Welsh Government's budget, general oversight of finincal accounting and aduit, general oversight of any Private Finance Initiative amongst others.[1]
However the Welsh Government has no powers over taxes, as that is a reserved matter for the British Parliament.
