The oligotrophic, circumneutral body of water called Mirror Lake is in the Adirondack Mountains in northern New York in the United States. The lake is approximately 122 acres (0.49 km2), and has an average depth of about 14 feet (4.3 m).[1] It is located in the village of Lake Placid, near the center of the town of North Elba in Essex County.
