Monte Carlo (radio programme)

Monte Carlo is a Danish radio programme, which is being send on the radio channel DR P3. The program is made by the two presenters Esben Bjerre Hansen and Peter Falktoft.

The program started out sending between 9.00 and 12.00 AM each Sunday, but from 20 February 2012 the airtime was moved to 2-4 PM all working days.

Fixed component parts is (translated) "The Quotation Index", "The Per Wimmer Quiz", "The Mystical Mr. Mox Quiz" and "Heard over the hedge" (#hørtoverhækken). They are often making fun with a lot of different persons, including - but not limited to - Remee, Rolf Sørensen and the Danish politician Simon Emil Ammitzbøl.

In 2012, Monte Carlo was a part of the DR's coverage of the United States presidential election, sending from Miami, Florida, from 29 October to 7 November 2012.

In a big poll, made by DR, they were proposed as host for the Eurovision Song Contest 2014, which is being held in the Danish capital Copenhagen.
