Mount Forde

Mount Forde (76°53′S 162°5′E / 76.883°S 162.083°E / -76.883; 162.083Coordinates: 76°53′S 162°5′E / 76.883°S 162.083°E / -76.883; 162.083) is a mountain over 1,200 metres (3,900 ft) high, standing at the head of Hunt Glacier, 2 nautical miles (4 km) northwest of Mount Marston, in Victoria Land, Antarctica. It was mapped by the British Antarctic Expedition, 1910–13, and named for Petty Officer Robert Forde, Royal Navy, a member of the expedition's Western Geological Party.[1]
