Mujeer Du'a

The Mujeer supplication is a prayer said on the 13th, 14th, and 15th of the Ramadan month.[1][2] Jibra'il (Gabriel) is said to have taught the prayer to Muhammad when he was praying in Maqam-e-Ibrahim.[2] The Mujeer supplication text was mentioned in Balad al-Amin and Misbuh books by Ibrahim ibn Ali A’meli Kafa’mi.[3] The supplication praises Allah. The sentences are short and after two of them, a same sentence is repeated. Meaning of the sentence is “give us refuge from the ever-lasting fire, O Giver Of Refuge.” “Subhaanaka” and “Ta-aalayta” are frequent words in the prayer and means “Glory be to You” and “Exalted be You”.[4][5] Muslims recite the Mujeer for absolution and saving from fire of Akhirah.[6][7]

سُبْحانَكَ يا اَللهُ تَعالَيْتَ يا رَحْمنُ اَجِرْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا مُجيرُ
Pronunciation: subhaanaka yaa Allaaho ta-aalayta yaa rahmaano ajirnaa menan naare yaa mojeer
Translation: Glory be to You O Allah! Exalted be You O Beneficent! Give us refuge from the ever-lasting fire, O Giver Of Refuge!
سُبْحانَكَ يا رَحيمُ تَعالَيْتَ يا كَريمُ اَجِرْنا مِنَ النّارِ يا مُجيرُ
Pronunciation: subhaanaka yaa raheemo ta-aalayta yaa kareem ajirnaa menan naare yaa mojeer
Translation: Glory be to You O Merciful! Exalted be You O Generous! Give us refuge from the ever-lasting fire, O Giver Of Refuge!

This Dua forgives all sins

In the opinion of Ayatollah Mojtahedi everyone who reads the Du'a in the thirteenth, fourteenth, and fifteenth days of the Ramadan month will have their sins forgiven.[8] Some Shia claim that saying the prayer "is also very effective for the cure of the sick, fulfillment of debts, acquisition of wealth and relief from sorrows." [9]
