Quentin Lepoutre (born March 30, 1987), professionally known as Myd [mi:d], is a French musician, producer and sound engineer. Alongside his solo career as an house music artist on Bromance records he is a member of the band Club cheval and he produced records for artists like Brodinski[1] or Theophilus London.

More recently he composed French rap hits and got his first double platinium record with DJ Kore by producing for SCH[2] or Lacrim.[2]

Career

Myd studied sound engineering from 2008 to 2011 in Paris at the prestigious cinema school La Fémis[3] when he met Panteros666, Sam Tiba and Canblaster. They decided to make music together and to become Club cheval.

Alongside the band, Myd released his first solo EP on Marble records (Para One, Surkin and Bobmo label) in 2011, and started to tour as a DJ internationally.[4] At that time he did remixes for big names like Yelle or Two Door Cinema Club.

In 2014, he produced Brodinski's first album Brava[1] including featurings with Slim Thug, ILOVEMAKONNEN and Young Scooter. The same year he composed three songs on Theophilus London's Vibe including "Can't Stop (feat. Kanye West)". This year he moved to DJ Kore studios in Paris from who he became closer.

In 2015, he co-composed French rap hits with DJ Kore for SCH,[2] Lacrim[2] or Alonzo.[2] He received in 2016 his first platinium disc. At that time he released his house influeced EP, Numero Uno[5] on Brodinski's label : Bromance Records.

In 2016 he focused his career on Club cheval's debut album Discipline.
