Upon the merger, the name of the company was changed to "Next Human Network", or NHN, although the two divisions continue to operate under their original brand names. On August 1, 2013 NHN was re-split into NHN Entertainment Corporation and Naver Corporation for strategic reasons. On February 1, 2014, NHN Entertainment divested the assets of its personal computer (PC) online game business and mobile game business into three new wholly owned subsidiaries, namely NHN Studio 629 Corporation, NHN BlackPick Corporation and NHN PixelCube Corporation, which will be engaged in the operation of different games.
