NRIAM UAVs are Chinese UAVs developed by of Nanjing Research Institute of Agricultural Machinery (NRIAM, 农业部南京农业机械化研究所) of the Ministry of Agriculture of the People's Republic of China, and are currently in service.

Unmanned helicopter

NRIAM has been an important governmental institution in developing agricultural machinery for years, but for most part, the effort is concentrated in ground equipment, but recently, aerial equipment has also become one of NRIAM projects, and the unmanned helicopter is the result. Unmanned helicopter developed by NRIAM is in conventional layout with a pair of skids as landing gear. [1] Unmanned helicopter developed by NRIAM is mainly intended for crop dusting and in comparison to manual labor, the efficiency is improved at least ten folds some times near a hundred folds, with the reduction of chemical needed by at least twenty to forty percent, sometimes as much as ninety percent.
