National Fried Chicken Day
National Fried Chicken Day is observed annually on July 6.[1][2][3][4] In observance of this day, some people consume various preparations of fried chicken.[1][5] Fried chicken has been described as an "American restaurant staple".[3] Some fried chicken restaurant locations such as Church's Chicken and KFC, and other restaurants such as Grandy's locations, offer special price reductions on National Fried Chicken Day.[6][7][8] It is unclear how the day originated and who or what entity started it.[9][10]
