The Nicholls State Colonels baseball team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana.[2] The team is a member of the Southland Conference, which is part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I.[3][4] Nicholls State's first baseball team was fielded in 1960.[5][6] The team plays its home games at 3,200-seat Ray E. Didier Field[7] and are coached by Seth Thibodeaux.[8]
History
The Colonels have played in the NCAA tournament three times, most recently in 1998.[2][9]
