Nishwartha Bhalobasa (Bengali: নিঃস্বার্থ ভালোবাসা; English: Selfless Love or What is Love) is a Bangladeshi romantic-action-comedy (cult) film directed by Ananta Jalil, starring Ananta and Barsha in the lead roles.[3] The film was produced by Ananta Jalil under the banner of Monsoon Films. Action hero Ananta made his debut as a director in this film. Nishwartha Bhalobasa was chosen to screen at the Marché du Film of 66th annual Cannes Film Festival in France on 17 May 2013 and premiered in Star Cineplex at Basundhara City on 30 June 2013. The film was released on Eid al-Fitr, 2013 in Bangladesh.[4]

Box office
The film opened in 40 theatres across the country with 70-80 percent occupancy. According to Box Office Bangladesh, after 6 weeks the nett collection was BDT 1.8 crores.[2]
Critical reception
Nishwartha Bhalobasa received mixed reviews from critics in Bangladesh and abroad. Dhallywoodlife.com gave the film 3 out of 5 stars and said that it was a film that should be seen because it followed a different trend than other Dhallywood films and because it presented beautiful locations. The music of the film was also praised.[5]
